Empowering Entreprenuers
IFRAD leverages a private sector led approach to development. We believe that transformation happens when the right partnerships meet the right capabilities. Give people better access to information, resources, and skills and connect
them to partners who can open doors and recovery turns into lasting development.
IFRAD’s strategic areas of intervention fall into three broader levels of engagement;
*Entrepreneurship Development: Includes skilling, agribusiness, and entrepreneurship trainings, tailored business support services e.g incubation, apprenticeships, mentorships, access to finance and access to
markets using market systems approach.
*Private Sector Organizing: Includes organizing informal private sector actors into private sector networks able to network, benefit from the power of collectives and voice advocacy agenda e.g Local government
budget advocacy, collective bulking and marketing.
* Business Sustainable Business Eco-system: Includes research, and advocacy aimed at systems influencing and making business operating environment better and equitable.
