IFRAD is a holistic entrepreneurship development, private sector organizing, and business ecosystem facilitator. We support early-stage entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses. IFRAD employs a private-sector approach towards development which emphasizes the building and strengthening of capacities for both informal and formal private sectors to organize, build wealth and exercise active citizenship

Our Projects 

IFRAD is operating a private sector led model in Northern Uganda and West Nile regions, with the ambition to scale to other geographical contexts. Our rationale for the choice of regions is based on household poverty rates of 46% in Northern Uganda as compared to 24% in Eastern Uganda.

Entrepreneurship 

Focus is on building the capacities of women and youth to launch and sustain businesses.

Sexual Reproductive Health

Program focus is on empowering adolescents girls and young women to reach their full potential

Social Enterprise

The social enterprise approach focuses on supporting communities to  address poverty in sustainable ways.
